Two Artists, One Dream, in Denia Exhibition
If you love flamenco, wildlife and colour, come to a new exhibition of paintings in Denia’s Casa de Cultura! Starting with a preview party to which all are welcome from 6pm to 9pm on Thursday 18th June, the exhibition runs until July 3rd. Two local artists, Jan Calderwood and Anne Kerr, will be showing lively paintings in their latest exhibition which celebrates the beauty and energy of the natural world and dance.
Opening hours are 11am to 2pm and 5pm to 9pm Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays the exhibition is open 11am to 1.30pm and 6pm to 9pm. The Casa de Cultura is a green building between the Monday market area and nearby Mercadona, just off Plaza Jaume 1, the very large roundabout with huge palm trees.
Subjects are many and varied - animals, landscapes, sea sc a pe s, fl amenco and ballet among them. You will see oils, watercolours, silk
painting and pastels. Paintings are reasonably priced and would make an ideal gift, investment or decoration for your home.

Heroes Need Your Help Dennis and Barbara accept any household items, furniture, electrical and clothes etc for the recycle projects.
