Sorry about our name, but Javea is where we started!
Actually we cover from Benidorm to Oliva, and inland towns like Jalon, Parcent and Pego.
All too often people outside of Javea overlook the Asociacion Amigos Europeos de Javea because of our name. But Javea is where our immediate response Ambulance and Paramedic service started, and that’s why our name is what it is. But rather obviously, in fact for all those readers living in remote and rural areas, our service is actually all the more important. Let us tell you about a recent example of a new client (husband and wife) who live in the Jalon Valley. Their house is not on SatNav, and it is not well signposted. And it is up a typical Spanish camino lane, unmarked, unclear and very ‘missable’ in the confusion of any emergency. In fact, most people trying to drive to see this couple usually end up at a neighbouring house far beyond them, then they have to turn around and make their way back. If you were this couple, in the event of a medical emergency would you want an ambulance to come straight to you, or
to go all around the neighbourhood? Yes, obviously, you want an ambulance to get straight to you ASAP. That’s where our onboard computer system of all our clients’ names, addresses, medical records and with maps to their houses comes in to its own. We will get to you in the shortest time, which in the event of a medical emergency can literally mean the difference between life and death. This is why this couple living in the Jalon valley are now members of Asociacion Amigos Europeos de Javea. Our fleet of ambulances are more like MOBILE INTENSIVE CARE UNITS, and offer the best chance of getting to you with their life saving equipment. Here is a photograph of the inside of our latest ambulance. Everything is bang up-to-date, the very latest life saving equipment.
