Following the success of the sell-out musical theatre garden show two years ago, the group Amadeus have put together another selection of hit songs called “Musicals Of Tonight”. The show will be performed in the beautiful gardens of Finca Jacaranda, Pedramala, on Saturday 27th June. Bring your own picnic and enjoy the warm evening with songs from the shows from the Amadeus team of four singers. Musicals Of Tonight was first performed last September in the Calpe Salon Blau. The show is filled with their usual style of fun and humour with one or two lesser known tunes mixed in with the hit musical numbers we all know and love. Amanda, Chris, Gillian and Philip have a wealth of experience in musical theatre

between them. This can be seen in the wide range of musicals in the shows from My Fair Lady to Les Miserables and covering everything in between. With a cast of only four there are no principals or leads, everyone sings both as a group and individually. Amanda brings everyone’s favourite bad girl, Rizzo. to life from Grease in Look At Me I’m Sandra Dee. From Chicago Chris could easily be missed as the sad Mr Cellophane. Gillian will make you laugh as she plans the demise of her teacher in Just You Wait Henry Higgins from My Fair Lady. The haunting Why God Why is sung by Philip as part of the Miss Saigon segment. The evening is also helping to raise funds for the ‘Friends Of The Children Of Emaus’ to help them continue their work with the EMAUS shelters on the Costa Blanca. The concert is €10, the gates open at 6pm with the show itself starting at 6.30pm and places are limited so booking is essential. Please bring your own chairs or rug, and a picnic.
