here are countless ways to clean, renovate, repair and transform a swimming pool from an unsightly vision to one that looks as good as

new. But one of the simplest, cheapest and easiest product ranges to tempt clients with are pool liners. That’s particularly true at this time of year for owners of outdoor pools who are looking forward with hope to a warm and sunny summer and the anticipation of the better weather providing a few months of swimming and fun in the pool. But for outside pools, after the disuse of the winter months, some pool owners find that the bright, new, spring sunshine reveals a pool that isn’t the pride and joy it perhaps once was. Over time, sunlight, abrasion and chemical wear and tear damage can disfigure even the most well-maintained pool. Luckily, each year the sheer range of styles, designs, colours and patterns available increases which means that customers and clients who wish to transform and renovate their pool can do so quickly and at a

In addition to liners for the home pool, heavy duty commercial liner material is also manufactured offering more colour selections and in turn, this has increased demand for site lined domestic pools. This not only makes the structure watertight but also gives the pleasing aesthetic finish from a vast choice of colours and patterns. The positive benefits of this construction method with an inexpensive build and good finish can open new horizons when taken to the extreme.

What if you only need a ‘pool’ for a very short period of time? For instance a few weeks for a stage show or even less than a day for the home water-birth of a new baby! Plastica Limited who have specialised in the tailoring and production of bespoke liners for over 40 years, in collaboration with a few expert companies in the UK, are doing exactly this.

For the maternity market, a specially designed and padded DIY ‘box’ structure is delivered to site with a pre-made disposable liner. This can be constructed prior to the big
