COLLIERS SALE RAISES PROFILE


In-depth knowledge of the commercial property market in the South West remains central to the success of property specialists Colliers International following a major takeover. Colliers’ UK operation was bought last month by FirstService which already owns 90 per cent of Colliers International globally. Head of the Bristol office Tim


Davies said the buyout had recapitalised the UK business, which was now able to draw on FirstService’s financial clout. He said, “This deal has raised the company’s profile across Europe and will bring undoubted benefits for Colliers International’s clients in the West. “Colliers International is now one of the top three commercial property agencies globally, financially secure, with an A-list client base that’s already proved its loyalty to us. This deal will bring international business opportunities to Bristol and the South West from clients and contacts all over the world.”


TWO NEW MOVES FOR FOXTONS LEGAL 4 LANDLORDS FINDS A NEW HOME


Legal 4 Landlords, a specialist landlord and letting agent services provider, has moved to a new home which is four times the size of its original office space. The four year old business, based in Warrington, has relocated to neighbouring 2,500 square feet premises covering space over two floors and housing both a call centre and a sales centre. The move follows a record 12 months for the business which is on track to achieve its £2 million predicted turnover for 2012/2013. The staff count is up to


twenty five people based at the Warrington head office, with plans to add a further 10 people to the team over the

Earls Court is the sixth office of Marsh & Parsons in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea – and to celebrate the opening, Marsh & Parsons gave away hundreds of doughnuts.
