The Braeport Community Centre... yours for the making

The Braeport Centre is run on your behalf by the DDT and continues to be a much valued community facility.

We play host to various groups/clubs including Dunblane’s Pre-School Play Association, Monument Dance, Tae Kwon Do, Brownies, the Quakers and the Folk Club.

Conveniently situated near the Cathedral, the Centre has ample car parking and off ers three large halls which are ideal for parties, meetings, functions and other events. They are available for hire 7 days a week.

Recently we produced a new business plan which includes: • A new leasing arrangement with Stirling Council; a big step closer to community ownership.

Building improvements including a new toilet block, a covered entrance/reception area and energy saving measures.

We are much indebted to Bill Stewart for the centre’s success over the past 8 years. He retired as manager in September and, as “the face of the Braeport” for so long, will be greatly missed.

Our new manager is Robert Shannon who will soon no doubt become well known to all the Centre’s users as our future plans come to fruition.

For bookings and enquiries please contact Robert on: 01786 822422 (please note our new number) or by email at: braeport@dunblane.info
