This year NewVIc students celebrated another successful year of A-level and vocational results. 715 students progressed to university, with 88 students gaining places at the most selective universities, including 60 at Russell Group universities.
Students achieved a 100% pass rate in 20 subjects with 109 candidates gaining the top grades of A* or A.
NewVIc students achieved a 100% pass rate in 11 out of 17 level 3 vocational courses, with 159 students achieving triple distinction or above.
NewVIc offers a wide range of courses:

l Specialist routes and pathways on our unique Honours Programme and the Create programme
l Level 2 and 3 vocational programmes in 31 areas
l Foundation, entry level and ESOL programmes

International links
NewVIc is very proud of its international links and over the past year, students have been involved in a range of activities including:
l Volunteering for 10 weeks with international charity Raleigh International in Tanzania, Nicaragua, Costa Rico and Borneo
l Visiting Germany as part of the European Business Project
l Working with schools in Germany and Slovakia on the EU funded Comenius project
l Visits from French students working on science and philosophy projects

The Create Programme
The NewVIc Create programme has been designed to develop in-depth knowledge, skills and support for A-level students who want to pursue a career within the creative industries.
NewVIc’s art and design, media and performing arts teams have proven records of excellence within their facilities, teaching and achievement. The college has well-established progression to top creative arts universities such as the London College of Fashion, Ravensbourne, Italia Conti Drama School, University of East London (UEL) and SSR Studios.
