enterprise day at BioCity Scotland recently, organised by the University of Edinburgh and funded by Skills Development Scotland (SDS). Trough the workshops

undertaking the new Curriculum for Excellence Higher courses in Sciences and, unusually, it also provides CPD for teachers in Enterprise and Innovation in Life
Sciences in Scotland. Teachers and pupils had access to expertise from representatives of universities, colleges and industry involved in life science research locally, and the chance to find out about opportunities such as work placements and summer workshops which are available for schools. BioCity Scotland at Newhouse
is the hub for life science businesses developing new medicines and medical devices.
