Eva’s Yorkhill Mission... an update!
If you remember, Eva Burgess from Dunblane has been a patient at Yorkhill Children’s Hospital, Glasgow since birth and she wanted to say “Thank You” to them in her own special way..... by persuading her “Grob”, Grandad Sandy Robb, to jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet!
took to Fife airfi eld to raise funds for Yorkhill.
On Sunday 8th June, Eva and her family You can watch his jump on You Tube at
yorkhill grobskydive. (In fact Sandy enjoyed it so much that he’s aiming to do it again next year !)
Donations have come fl ooding in and ‘Team Eva’ smashed their initial target of £500 within a matter of days. They have now raised a whopping £3,548.75 !
Eva would like to thank everyone for their support and kind donations. Eva’s parents, Sandie and Darren Burgess are delighted with the outcome and are extremely proud of their daughter’s positive attitude and determination. She is a very brave little girl who is still undergoing organ treatment - she is an inspiration!
