Ingredients: 600g large potatoes, peeled and cut into thin chips 4 x steak of your choice (fi llet, rump, sirloin etc.) Low calorie cooking spray Salt and pepper Mixed green salad

Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C Fan/ Gas 6.
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil. Add the chips and cook for 4 minutes. Drain and leave aside for 10 minutes to dry.
Return the chips to the dry saucepan, cover with a lid and shake to ‘’rough up’’ the edges of the chips - this roughness is important to the texture of the chips. Spread your chips on a non- stick baking sheet or one lined with parchment paper and spray with low calorie cooking spray and bake for 12- 15 minutes until golden brown

Heat a non-stick griddle or frying pan on a high heat and cook the meat to your liking 1-2 minutes each side RARE, 2-3 minutes each side MEDIUM 3-4 minutes each side for WELL DONE.
• Allow the meat to rest for a few minutes on a warm plate and then serve with the fries and a large mixed salad.
