Rising Interest In Wellbeing Drives New Golden Coast Appointment


As more and more Britons prioritise their health and wellbeing, a trend reflected by the wet leisure sector, Golden Coast has responded by enhancing its level of customer support in this area with the appointment of health specialist Lindsey McClenaghan.

IQL UK’s Executive Director To Help Steer Change At CIMSPA


Executive director of IQL UK, the trading subsidiary of the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) and leading training provider for pool lifeguards across the UK, is heading up the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) as it is to set begin a major transformation. Tara Dillon, while still firmly leading IQL UK, has been appointed on a part- time secondment as Chief Operating Officer of CIMSPA and will lead a transitional management team for nine months.


She works in this new role for two days a week, dedicating the remaining three days a week to IQL UK. In order to make this move possible, Business Development

Manager, Martin Symcox will be acting Head of IQL UK full-time for the term of the nine-month CIMSPA secondment. Tara said: “I am delighted that together with the RLSS UK and IQL UK, I am able to assist CIMSPA. This is an exciting development for these organisations as it puts us at the forefront of what will potentially be one of the most significant changes to our sector ever.

She will also carry on volunteering with the Appledore Lifeboat Crew – on land and sea – working to keep the general public safe. A keen surfer, Lindsey is very much looking forward to the new challenges ahead. SCP Europe Appoint Marketing Coordinator


Linda Rakers has joined the SCP Europe support team to fill the newly created position of Marketing Coordinator.


Having taken up the position at the beginning of April, Linda’s main role will be to look after the marketing activities and provide support for the SCP branches in Benelux, Germany and the UK plus be the contact person for European show organisation. Furthermore Linda will assist Jean Seval on export opportunities.


“Linda brings with her 20 years of experience in the pool and spa Industry and Export business (especially ten years at ALBATICA and six years at SRBA), as well as having great experience as a professional translator in the industry,” said Sylvia Monfort, General Manager of SCP Europe.
