Update from Andy, Youth Worker

Summer is fully upon us, and I hope everyone is enjoying their time off school. For us at the Centre, summer is no time for holidays, it’s time for great activities!

Hopefully you will be joining us for the varied programme we have running. Even if you don’t wish to take part in specifi c activities, we’ll be open for drop- in Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm. During this time you can come down to play pool, table tennis, snack at our cafe, or even play our up-to-date consoles! It’s free for members, and £1.10 for non-members. Max stay is 2 hours.

I’m happy to announce that I will be staying at the Centre as the Youth Worker for a few extra months than originally planned as Jeannie’s maternity leave continues - so I can’t wait to see you all at Youth Club after the Summer :-)

Our Saturday Night Project kit is getting a bit of a refresh over the summer, and I’m happy to say that when schools return, anyone in S1-6 will be able to enjoy a PS4 & Xbox One, new outdoor stuff , and loads more! Oh, and it will still be free

entry, we’ll still supply free food every week and it’ll run from 7pm- 10pm every week during the school term :-)

As always, keep up to date with all the Dunblane Centre Youth related information on our Facebook and Twitter pages: (/Dunblaneyouthie or @DunblaneCentre)

Hope to see you soon, Andy!
