Trevaskis Farm off er all this and much
more. At the heart of 28 acres of farm and countryside, is a family who have been growing and rearing their own produce for many genera- tions. Over 70 diff erent crops are grown on the farm, all of which are available in the shop and on the restaurant’s menu. the Farmhouse Restaurant, workshops and of course plenty of animals to see. In the shop, counters and shelves laden with home grown and local arti- san produce are a feast for foodie eyes. Visit resident butcher Peter Davies at the counter, he off ers a lovely range of homemade sausages, hogs pudding, home cured bacon and gammon from their own free range pigs, together with locally sourced, rare breed meats. He’ll happily recommend the right cuts for your dish too.
The shop boasts artisan produce from some of the best in the West Country including freshly baked breads from renowned Baker Tom and a fresh fi sh counter stocked from the Cornish day boats, all beautifully laid out on ice. Ask Fishmonger Daryl advice on prepara- tion, cooking tips and fl avours. Of course there’s always a chef or two around for

super convenient too, the farm shop and pick your own is open 8am til 8pm every day so you really can freshly pick your dinner on your way home from work. Visit the farm and market shop for a new experience this season.

Try mouth watering fresh and stuff ed olives, kalamata and cured meats from Spanish artisan producers. By the time you get to the dairy counter you’ll be searching for space in your basket! Uniquely, and unlike many supermar- kets, the produce is all loose rather than pre packaged so there’s no need to over purchase, just choose what you need. But best of all, they off er the peace of mind of knowing where their food has come from and all at very competitive prices. It’s
