Set in the celestial shadow of the historic Exeter Cathedral in the heart of the city, visitors can enjoy browsing homemade gifts, crafts and decorations for 4 festive weeks, commencing Thursday 21st November. As well as revelling in the traditional German food, and a glass or two of glühwein, shoppers can also indulge in fantastic regional produce made a little closer to home. The market is brought to a traditional close with the Exeter Nativity Procession marking the start of the true festive season. The market is open 7 days a week, with late opening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday – to be enjoyed by all ages.
