SNOWMAN CUPCAKE DECORATING

Skill level: Concentration needed

This is a bitmore complicated than the biscuit decorations so youwill probably need towork on this together. Beforemaking the snowman youwill need to ice your pre-made cupcakeswith blue icing. These instructions are for the snowman only.

Youwill need: Sugarpaste in the following colours:White, Black,Orange and Blue This can either be bought already coloured or you can use food colouring.

1Make the body into a cone shape.

2 Shape each arminto long thin cones; stick one on each side of the body

3 Squash a blue button shape for the scarf; place on the

thick, verywhitemeringue typemixture that holds its peak.

4 Pour into a piping bag and you are ready to start assembling.

Assembling 1 Pipe icing onto the edges of the gingerbread front,

back and sides to join togetherwith the base and each other. 2When the structure feels stable, use icing to glue the roof in place. Glue the chimney together separately and stick onto the roofwhen it is ready.

Decorating Youwill need the remaining icing aswell as a selection of sweets andmarshmallows. Layla used candy canes and red andwhite cake decorations and other sweets, but you really can usewhatever you like – this is your house, remember!

Layla also used ShreddedWheat for the roof, but again, you can usewhatever you like – just stick it onwith the icing. Happy building!
