SANTA ROSA, CA. ~ [Mah- hah-lo] It’s that time of year again, the season to appreci- ate the bounties of life. While it’s important for optimum well being to notice what’s working, and be grateful, on a daily basis, nonetheless, it is a wonderful thing to actu- ally have a national holi- day, helping us to give thanks for what we have, as opposed to what we don’t. I am no exception to that
rule. Even though I do offi- cially have the spiritual prac- tice of taking time each day to appreciate what is good and noble, what is delightful and pleasureable or what we have learned from the hard stuff life brings –I am glad for Thanksgiving, for a push to actually say, “thank you” to the people, animals, plants that sustain me.
And the
earth’s soils, water, the air, the sun and stars –but you catch my drift.
There is a lot for which to
say, “Mahalo,” the Hawaiian word for thanks giving. Take time to breathe, Be, and just notice something, anything in the moment for which you are glad, pleased, relieved to experience as yours in the moment. Perhaps you will

I can- not claim “free time, “down
time” or leisure,
if I just remember to breathe, Be, I can also find a thank you, perhaps just for that free breath, that moment of Being –alive. This month, let’s keep each other in our hearts and prayers, even not knowing exactly who we are, but just that we all are, and are all in this

say, you?”

Luca is a rambunctious 7 year old Standard Poodle who owner Bob B. of Santa Rosa raised from a pup. He loves softballs! Cloe, age 11 was adopted from a rescue center in Sacramento and is also a standard poodle. She is very loving and enjoys going for walks. They both prefer Taste of the Wild dog food. Cloe is a bit older, so Bob gives the glucos- amine tablets available at WFC that help to strenghthen her joints, since she loves to run and gets sore on ocassion. We love WFC!!
