ONE-PIECE POOLS

excavation is dug even bad weather should not hold you up as there is no real building work. The pool is easily and quickly installed in days rather than weeks and when the pool arrives on site it has already been fitted with all the equipment needed, e.g. underwater lights, skimmer, water inlets etc. It is then lowered into the hole and backfilled whilst the pool is filling with water. The filtration comes pre-fitted in a fibreglass box with all its interconnecting pipe work and valves. It’s so easy.

NEW CERAMIC POOLS FROM SUNDANCE

The fibreglass pool share of the market is steadily rising as customers appreciate the many advantages of them. Sundance Pools have been solely supplying one-piece fibreglass pools to both retail and trade markets in the UK since 1997. Since partnering up with manufacturers Aquacomet in 2012 they have added ceramic pools to their range and now have three ranges of pools: traditional fibreglass from South Africa, flat-bottomed ceramic pools from Hungary and their largest 11 metre pool the Sunquest 36 which they produce exclusively in the UK.

The modern ceramic range is causing a bit of a stir at the moment with both the end user and trade customer. The customer gets to see their pool with its high quality finish before work has even begun. Installation is a very smooth process with disruption on site kept to a minimum. The ceramic pools also carry a 20 year warranty. Traders benefit from the new pricing structure and the fact that the pools are available from stock in Milton Keynes. Jeremy West MD of Sundance Pools says:

“We are delighted with the new ceramic pools and both trade and retail customers seem to be very pleased with the pools – probably the best in Europe!”

The company have also added a new range of integral slatted covers which are available for both to their fibreglass and ceramic pools. The pit for the underwater roller is moulded into the end of the pool, doing away with any on site pit construction.

There is a range of slats to choose from so that these covers will suit both indoor and outdoor installations, including solar gain slats for outside pools.

The pit comes with a high quality hardwood

cover, which is supported by robust beams that are faced with hardwood.

CERAMIC POOL COLLECTION FROM SWIMPOOLS

The ultimate in luxury and design, the elegant one-piece collection from Swimpools consists of a range of high quality ceramic pools which are available in a variety of

sizes and shapes. Every pool is made with advanced, precise and strictly controlled engineering and technology processes. Smooth moulds are produced by a professional manufacturer (who produce boats as well as pools) with the result being a very even and non-porous surface. The structure of each pool is been built using ten composite layers and the process has been specifically designed to maintain the high quality and stability of the pool. Each layer is carefully applied by hand and the process guarantees a long, osmosis free life. The external layer consists of 3D Ultra Granicoat and is made partly of recycled materials. Bright and clear, it has a high level of UV stability and is resistant to chlorine. Inside, a vinylester layer has ceramic silica spheres added, which gives thermal and structural stability. A high tech triple layer Thermolite acrylic shell is also used which provides high impact proof properties (very important during installation and transport) and this layer also adds thermal properties
