SPATEX 2013 Delivers
T
he overwhelming impression that visitors and exhibitors took away from SPATEX 2013 was that for three days in February, the industry and indeed Brighton, truly were a brighter place to be. Downstairs, the new entrance which showcased new products gave the show a fresh feel from the moment you walked in. Once inside, exhibition stands were busy, good honest business was being done and there was a clear buzz and a noticeable optimism about the place, something that hadn’t been seen for some years. The recession, although still evident, was not at the forefront of discussions. Nor for a change was the weather and the much-longed for feel good factor appeared to have returned to the industry. Despite competition from the newly launched rival show at the NEC, SPATEX still boasted an impressive line-up of exhibitors and a comprehensive workshop programme again being run by the ISPE.
