Steam Room Generator Solutions

Whether it be to

manufacturers, facilities engineers or end user pool managers, the most complete range of steam generators is now available thanks to steam room specialists Humidity Solutions Ltd.

Offering Devatec electrode boiler or Neptronic resistive technologies, all applications are catered for as either a simple stand alone steam generator or for a complete solution where the generator wellness unit controls essence, disinfection and operation of lights, all remotely controlled. The competitively priced Devatec electrode boiler has the facility to use cleanable or disposible cylinders with its maintenance life extended thanks to the use of solid stainless steel electrode plates rather than the quick wearing mesh type.

Steam bath steam generators do require some consumables but to reduce down time, all spares are carried in stock in the UK to ensure a speedy response.

Neptronic element boilers

require less

frequent

maintenance and lower consumables than the electrode boilers, so offeri a great solution to applications where access is limited or where the water quality is particularly poor and contains such minerals as silica. A countrywide installation, service and planned maintenance package is available from as little as £19 a month and is applicable to all makes and models of steam generators.

Humidity Solutions are also able to provide a calculation service for the sizing of the generators to the size of the steam room and are able to forward a design guide.

LED Pool Lights Pass Safety Standards Compliance Tests

EVA Optic, the Dutch manufacturer of LED lighting solutions for swimming pools and sports facilities, have had their entire series of LED underwater lights tested by the Dutch IEC accredited testing institute DEKRA to the international standard for underwater lights, EN 60598-2-18. EN 60598- 2-18 is widely recognised by most countries as the safety standard for underwater lighting. Testing to this standard is not mandatory, which means that the vast majority of manufacturers of underwater lights do not have their lights tested. EVA Optic chose to have all of their underwater lights tested in order to demonstrate the quality of their pool lighting products. The EVA Optic LED pool lights were tested on electrical safety

(SELV), waterproofness (IPX8), insulation class (III), impact resistance, mechanical strength,

resistance to high pressure, thermal

protection and fire safety. The entire range of EVA Optic LED underwater lights have

passed the tests with flying colours.

Topline Confirm New Distribution Agreement For The Siemens Ezetrol

Topline Electronics have been appointed as a distribution partner for Siemens plc with specific responsibility for Siemens Water Technologies top-selling pool controller, the Ezetrol Plus. Their role is to stock and supply the unit and spares to the wider swimming pool market for Siemens.

Siemens wish to maintain a leading edge in the market by concentrating upon their strengths as a technology innovations business, and to use Topline’s strengths, as a customer focused business, to support their sales efforts. Siemens will maintain a sales presence in the market, however the goal is to raise the profile of the products and to maintain a ‘specified status’ for the bigger projects and for Topline to work with Siemens existing client base to complete the project. Andrew Hunt, Managing Director of

Topline, commented: “This new agreement complements both Siemens approach to

pool market, which is one reason why Topline have become so successful in the markets we supply over the last 20 years.” Darren Dale, Siemens Water Technologies Sales & Marketing Director, underlined the strategy behind the agreement, by saying: “Siemens are a technology company and we have, and will continue to, introduce innovative products for the leisure market, but we took the decision to simplify our sales process model for the leisure industry and were specifically looking for a distributor

relationship to achieve this, and believe that Topline can provide the logistical support and technical expertise to react quickly to our existing, and potential new, customers. Siemens are committed to the leisure market and the appointment of Topline will allow us to focus more of our efforts in promoting our energy and water saving portfolio for pools.”
