have adapted is to offer interest free finance to customers. This has helped us to retain sales when customers were apprehensive about outlaying a large lump sum. In general though, there are still plenty of people shopping for luxury hot tubs and high end swim spas,” said Vicky Wrigglesworth of Artesian Spas.
Isobel Rickards Sanger of Elite Spas: “The choice for the consumer has become vast, however, buyer beware, as in the last couple of years we’ve had a few issues where people have chosen to buy inferior Chinese products. In the first instance the product simply never worked, and then having bought one of our swim spas later it became expensive –
buying two products! The second issue was delamination of the acrylic – the product was rendered completely useless. So far we have put swim spas in some very different applications – one went on a roof top garden in central London, they’ve gone into private gymnasiums, under houses – all over!
