The delegation, headed by the next prime war- den, Lord Francis Phillimore, was in the port to take first hand a look at the state of Grimsby’s seafood industry. And, arriving on the day when Mariner Foods announced a major new fish processing investment, they found it in good shape.
The itinerary included an early morning tour of the recently refurbished fish market with visits to Coldwater Seafoods, a major producer for Marks & Spencer, and to traditional smokers
