JANUARY High times for Loch Fyne

och Fyne Oysters announced that it se- cured significant investment from Scottish Seafood Investments (SSI), an offshoot of the Scottish Salmon Company.
The deal aims to provide the resources and partnership expertise for Loch Fyne to ulti- mately achieve 50% of sales from outside the UK within five years, as well as introduce in- novative methods of sustainable aquaculture across its operations.
The management of the business will remain with the existing team, whilst owner- ship of the company will be transferred to SSI. As part of this partnership, Loch Fyne Oysters will remain based in Argyll and all 105 jobs in the company will not be
