The hotel was built using 13,000 m2 of pine from old farmhouses and chalets, and 1,700 m2 of Alpine limestone from nearby quarries. Other fea- tures include banister rails covered in the finest leather, and wooden wardrobes and chests decorated with in- lay work and hand-painted decorations.
