Inspiration sometimes comes from places you least expect and this piece was inspired by a lady who connected with me by e mail regarding spirit touching us or not as the case may be. Does it happen? Is it real? I think I can only answer this by my own experiences and then leave you to conclude the answer to those questions yourselves.
One of the occasions that I was touched by spirit was during my divorce and the man and I who were divorcing were living in the same house, the marital home. It was not an easy situation. One morning around five o clock I heard my Grandfathers voice tell me to get out of the bed and get out of the house as it was on fire. I was very sleepy and was slow in responding to his voice when he shook me awake and said get out. I felt the whole bed move and my body was pushed to and fro until I moved. Imagine the shock as I came to the stair way and found smoke heavily covering the whole space. I knew where the phone was and hoped I could get to it. Then get my bird, dog and husband out of the house. I took a deep breath and ran to the door. Opened it and grabbed the phone dialling 999. I got everyone in the house out and ran to the fire engine coming up the road. The rest is history.
Another time I was touched by spirit after a major operation to save my life, having suffered an ectopic pregnancy. I had been sterilised for over eleven years when it all happened. I was home recovering. In a lot of pain and discomfort. My left side was very painful and my arm felt out of joint. Still on a high dose of pain killers I was half awake when I saw a light energy and felt my arm moved upward and pulled outward. It then clicked and the pain went. It has been fine since. Two circumstances that were very positive for me.
However not all touching from spirit is positive. I was investigating a house in Bodmin in Cornwall many years ago, and had to visit several times as the activity just kept coming back. On one occasion I felt like I was being strangled and on another a cup was flying across the room and a picture just suddenly fell with quite a thud to the floor. These souls needed a lot of help and guidance before they could be helped into the spirit realms where they belonged.
It is good to be open minded on these matters. I know that there are many strange happenings between heaven and earth as they say. Leaving this story on a positive note I have been told by many of my customers and relatives that they have been kissed by their loved ones in spirit. Like a child kissed by a parent. A husband or wife kissed by their loved one. Such lovely evidence of spirit energy touching us. These things happen on special dates like their birthday, anniversary, or their passing date. I take these happenings as normal. Between you and me some even have loved ones join them in bed when they go to sleep.

I keep seeing your name everywhere I go. Your card somehow got into my home. Your website suddenly appeared on my computer. I met a man who knew you and your work. So I give in. I think I must have to connect with you for something. Here I am. Any ideas? I am not being rude Gayle I am very curious. Something like this has never happened to me before. It is very intriguing. As I wrote this letter I have just turned the page and guess what? You’re picture is right here in the newspaper that I have just bought. I feel like I already know you. I look forward to hearing from you.

The times I have heard similar stories from people who have never met me but just had to come and see me. You see the spirit world family, friends and guides know when we need to have a helping hand and need to connect with some one. I could have said it is my magnetic personality, just kidding. It is not because there is something drastic happening in your life Ian it could easily be because you need a helping hand with something. You may have a spiritual gift, need to write a book, need to visit some where or change things in your life. There are many other reasons. Until we meet and a reading is done I really am not sure what is happening, but I do know it is definitely a change coming in your life. Interesting,
