Ecobuild exhibitors are being asked to ‘stand up for charity’ and donate reusable building materials from their stands to a worthy cause.
Dura Composites has already pledged to donate all the wood composite decking from its 9m x 4m stand and is inviting charities local to its Clacton offices to propose suitable uses.
Stuart Burns, CEO of Dura Composites said: “A vast amount of building materials used in exhibition stands is never used again, yet could be invaluable to charities. We’re going to recycle ours, made from recycled material anyway, to help local causes. We hope others will ‘stand up for charity’ too.”
