Kemper Systems set to educate Ecobuild Liquid waterproofing specialist Kemper System will be exhibiting at Ecobuild for the first time this year (Stand S2016) as part of a strategic marketing communications drive to educate the marketplace about its eco-friendly and effective roofing solutions. The move follows the growing success of the company’s innovative Kemperol 2K-PUR solvent-free system, the first solvent-free wet-on-wet cold


liquid waterproofing system available on the UK market. Based on an 80 per cent castor-oil formulation derived from sustainable sources, the liquid system also incorporates a flexible non-woven fleece manufactured using a 25 per cent recy- cled plastic bottle content.

Levolux brings back a ‘great’ Britton Street Great Portland Estate’s 24 Britton Street, in Central London has been transformed into a more attractive and sustainable property, thanks to a £3.7 million refurbishment project, which included the addition of a striking new external solar shading solution from Levolux. The regen- erated five-storey building, which has achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating, now features an impressive new entrance pavilion, reception facility and central atrium, along with an attrac- tive new external envelope. Working closely with Archer Architects, Levolux developed a bespoke


solar shading solution to dramatically reduce solar heat gain and glare, while max- imising daylight levels. The solution comprises fixed, external tubular Louvres and fully automated, external Tensioned Roller Blinds.
