Pillar Talk

Residents of a Midlothian sheltered housing complex were left chuffed recently as the Scottish Water contractors working on the Borders Rail Link pulled out all the stops to ensure our reputation didn’t hit the buffers and the project stayed on track.

Recognising the possible disruption to day to day services for our tenants, Viewpoint facilitated meetings with staff and customers at Glenesk. Scottish Borders Council were keen to work closely with us to minimise disruption to an elderly & vulnerable client group within the three complexes.

Meetings were facilitated and led by Terry Martini (our Technical Services Officer) and the housing team worked closely with our tenants to ensure their views & concerns were heard.

Through working together, works were carried out on time with minimal disruption to our customers. 21
