Making the Grade
Solutions James Bailey is certainly making the grade.
The Health & Safety Advisor earned distinctions in graduating from a Bachelor of the Arts in Occupational Health & Safety Management at Glasgow Caledonian University. James split the two year part time degree course, which he started in August 2008, because of more

pressing matters at home – the birth of his first child, Devon.
A return to campus life in 2010 saw James complete the course in August 2011, handing in his final research paper.
Speaking of the course and the benefits not only to him, but the wider business he said:
“The course not only improved my general knowledge of health and safety but also helped me to understand the management aspects of health & safety. With the new skills that I have learnt during my two years at Uni I am hoping this will allow me to develop my career as a Health & Safety Advisor which Scottish Water Solutions should see the benefits of.”
