2011 Updates: • Over 500 employees received Mountain Park’s half-day Diversity and Cultural Competency Training class since 2009


• 145 employees attended Diversity Lunch and Learn workshops


• 95% of employees who attended the workshops strongly agree or agree that they can use what they learned in the Diversity Lunch & Learn workshops for their jobs


• 96% of employees feel they have a moderate to very high understanding of CLAS Standards


• 90% of employees believe they are provided the training and resources they need to do their job in a culturally appropriate manner


Stakeholder Involvement: Expand Avenues to Involve Stakeholders and Broader Community.


2011 Updates: Mountain Park has partnered with Comminutes in Schools on referrals in addition to a school art project that will provide student art for Mountain Park clinics.


Diversity Site Councils: • Provide a way for Mountain Park to communicate with its different stakeholder groups


• Provide valuable feedback on diversity initiatives


For example: We used feedback from our Diversity Site Councils to create way-finding signs in our Maryvale Clinic that are in English and Spanish, and include universal graphics for patients with low English and Spanish literacy. Jump to more Success Stories.
