Patients have options when it comes to where they receive care.

Mountain Park seeks to be an example of best practices and a leader in embedding diversity, inclusion, and cultural competency throughout community health through stakeholder engagement, thoughtful strategic initiatives, and community embeddedness. We strive to meet our patients needs through creating a welcoming, respectful, and adaptive environment where diversity and inclusion are valued.

The 2011 Diversity & Cultural Competency Assessment provides another opportunity for us to assess, share, and highlight our work in the areas of diversity, inclusion, and cultural competency. This year’s report will provide interesting tidbits of information including some of our successes and areas we have to continue to improve Mountain Park.

Here are a few statistics that showcase the realities which reinforce why Diversity & Cultural Competency is so important.
