Board Diversity

In an effort to establish a faith based presence on the Mountain Park Board of Directors, Mountain Park recruited Rev. Arnold Jackson from Tanner Community Development Corporation as one of its newest board members. Reverend Jackson brings years of community outreach and influence as a leader in the faith based community.

Community Impact: Somali Bantu Community Development

Mountain Park was proud to continue to act as the fiscal agent for the Somali Bantu Development Community where we had the opportunity to guide this community-based organization through their first multi-year grant from St. Luke’s Health Initiatives by also providing educational sessions to community leaders who then disseminated the information. Our Promotora, Guadalupe Estrada and Health Education Manager, Valentina Hernandez formed a strong relation- ship with female leaders in the Somali Bantu community to raise awareness of health information and prevention.
