Bring Your Horse On Holiday

At Home Farm, Hallington, near Louth, we are privileged to be situated in the most beautiful part of the Lincolnshire Wolds with gently rolling hills, open spaces, wide grass verges and VERY LITTLE TRAFFIC!

Our guests stay in a fully-equipped 4 star self- catering cottage with en suite bathrooms and a wood burning stove. Their horses live in grassy paddocks and comfortable stables are available if required.

We have a superb cross country course with more than 50 jumps to suit all abilities and it is situated in a huge glacial valley on acres of permanent pasture. It is unbelievably peaceful and totally unspoilt. The six-mile off-road ride around the farm is lovely and we also direct our guests to further gorgeous hacking in the Wolds. We also have a floodlit all-weather surface for flatwork with plenty of poles to make grids and schooling fences.

Only a short drive away, the east coast is fabulous for beach riding. We give our guests

detailed directions to a very quiet part where uninterrupted sand stretches for miles. Some even persuade their horses to swim and come fully equipped with synthetic saddles!

Our hard tennis court is available for use and in summer the outdoor heated pool with diving board is popular, especially with families. There is excellent golf and fishing nearby to amuse non-horsey guests.

Louth, only two miles away, is a most attractive market town with shops, a cinema, pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes. As a family, we are very involved with horses, farming and countryside, so we understand the needs of our guests and do everything possible to create a memorable holiday for all.

We welcome children and pets, and we can arrange excellent instruction if required.

We think we are offering a unique experience with a cross-country course, beach riding, schooling facilities and fantastic hacking all-in-one holiday and situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
