Sutton Bonington Riding Club AGM/Presentation evening

A substantial audience of over 100 gathered in Normanton on Soar Village hall for the Sutton Bonington Riding Club AGM & Presentation evening on Saturday 12th November 2011. In addition to members, their families and friends, several of the judges from this season’s events attended.
Rosettes and trophies were presented by Ray Streets; an experienced judge who has been selecting champions in the riding club’s showing classes for a number of years. Ray also kindly donated a new trophy to the club for the “Most Improved Junior Rider”, which was won by Jasmine Moseley.
Rosettes were presented to first, second and third place winners in each class and the following trophies were presented to overall class winners:

The Committee award some special trophies each year, which went to:
Karen Nowicki (Bryher) – Helen Robinson Memorial Trophy for ‘Endeavour’ Adrienne Evans (I’ll do Anything) – Painter Trophy for ‘Senior Encouragement’ Ellie Haynes & Ellen Mercer (Pumpkin) – Pippin Trophy for ‘Junior Encouragement’ Ella Jarrom (Lagalgarve Mayfly) – Double Dutch Trophy for ‘Most Promising Horse (under 7)’ Sara, Richard & Isobel Cowin – SBRC Trophy ‘For always being there’ Jasmine Moseley – Ray Street Trophy for ‘Most Improved Junior Rider’
There was a break in proceedings for people to enjoy the Hog Roast, provided by Paul Barker and enjoy refreshments from the Bar.
