Orchard Farm

Equestrian invites you... Orchard Farm Equestrian Open Weekend.

We would like to invite all of the readers of Equestrian Life to our open Weekend

on the 28th and 29th of January 2012. We are extremely excited here at Orchard Farm Equestrian as we have loads planned for the up and coming open weekend in January. We want to launch our exciting new equestrian business in style and hope that you will look forward to joining us.

We have a live demonstration of natural horsemanship with Mickey Gavin, TopSpec will be there with all the advice you could ever need and we will be holding clinics throughout both days on nutrition, joint care, laminitis and first aid. We will have numerous manufacturers attending – Dengie, Nedz, Nomad and Saracen to name a few.

As we go deeper and deeper into winter we are stocking plenty of hard feed and chaff. Our main focus, as always, is on providing heaps of advice and information on why, what and how you can feed your horse to benefit their health and nutrition and your pocket!

We are coining one important question over the winter period. IS YOUR HORSE SURVIVING OR THRIVING? We think everyone should ask themselves this once in a while.

We really want to educate as many of our customers on how they can be frugal without failing to meet the nutritional needs of their

horse. It is a great belief of us all here at O.F.E that it doesn’t need to be complicated. The more we simplify how we feed and keep our horses, the kinder and more appropriate we are to them. Here is something else we want to focus on. Biologically appropriate feeding. What has the horse survived and thrived on throughout its journey of evolution? All the evidence points to a highly fibrous, low starch diet, which is eaten in continuously small amounts throughout the day and night. In simple terms, our horses have evolved on eating grass and not wheat, barley and other cereals.

With this in mind we now have in stock Pure Feeds working mix, easy mix and condition mix. Pure feed has no cereal and is based on grass and oat straw. All our horses look great on it!

I would also like to introduce O.F.E’s new brand. Orchard Farmacy is our own creation and is the name under which we will sell and promote all of the supplements and wound care products that we stock here at the shop. We have named our supplement room in the shop ‘Orchard Farmacy’. Our aim is to help navigate each and every customer to buy the right products for their horse.

Orchard Farm Equestrian looks forward to meeting and welcoming everyone to the open weekend.
