A member of the Belvoir Hunt field falls after jumping a hedge
Laura Drake’s Highland Pony wins performance award

From Mansfield, Julie and her daughter Laura Drake’s 2-year-old Highland colt, Ballachulish Fraser of Castle Green has won two of the performance awards in the Highland Pony Enthusiasts’ Club (HPEC). Fraser has won the youngstock award and he also won the best stallion award. Laura lives near Pleasley Vale, Mansfield. Fraser, one of their seven Highland Ponies, has only been lightly shown last summer but some of his results from last season are:
1st Staffordshire County Show and 1st reserve m&m champion (qualified silver medal)
1st Bakewell Show, 1st Derbyshire Fells, Dales and Highland Show, 1st EMWPCA and 1st reserve overall m&m champion.
He was also youngstock champion and overall reserve Highland champion at East Anglian Native Pony Show as a yearling.
