Christmas was all it was supposed to be - turkey, pud, mince pies and lots and lots of chocolate. As we no longer have a cat the dog had a great Christmas as it got all the leftovers, although it was not very pleased about having to wear the reindeer antler hat which the cat always had the ‘pleasure’ of wearing.
New Year was more food, drink and of course the 12 grapes to bring us luck throughout the year. I almost choked trying to eat them - not really sure how lucky that is!
The New Year’s resolution is supposed to be one which is achievable so this year I decided not to try to give up chocolate again! Anyone who knows me knows that it would just be doomed from the start. After all the food I ate over the holiday period it really should be a diet but..... maybe my resolution should be to eat more healthily, although I am not sure where the chocolate would fi t in to that one. I know, I will just wait until next year and make one then!
