Zinc façade aids sustainability of City’s biggest hotel The new 11-storey, 583-bedroom Mint Hotel Tower of London is the largest to be built in the City for 35 years. The highly sustainable design by Bennetts Associates included 2200m2 Zinc®
of Quartz- panels from VMZINC built up in
three zones. Horizontal, interlocking and spandrel panels were fabricated and fitted by contractor Sotech in addition to perforated, moveable solar shading screens. The zinc colour integrates per-
fectly with the building’s natural stone facades and is a prominent feature of the 360° view from the SkyLounge, a public penthouse bar.

Axor Citterio from Hansgrohe The Axor Citterio collection from Hansgrohe's designer brand Axor, sets the tone for hotel bathrooms as luxurious living spaces. Its creator, internationally renowned architect and designer Antonio Citterio, was driven by the desire to create a bathroom range that had ‘richness in design’. There are over 70 individual items bearing the Axor Citterio label including a wide choice of mixers for basins, bidets and bath tubs, as well as co-ordinating
showers and accessories. All the items are characterised by a strong geometric design with gleaming, perfectly crafted surfaces and a harmonious combination of straight angular edges next to rounded curves.
