Call for organisations to unite T

he new president of Birmingham Chamber of Commerce (BCC) has urged the Government to pump more support into the UK’s manufacturing sector.


“We all have similar agendas and we should work together more


closely. I feel we are sometimes trying to do the same thing but don’t know how to do it together. “The creation of the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise


Partnership (LEP) provides us with lots of opportunities and the Chamber can play a large part. “We did a great deal for the creation of the LEP and I’m positive that without us the agenda would not have moved ahead.” Earlier, Mr Ward had issued a rallying call to the city’s business leaders
