Debenhams Estee Lauder Team, are once again hosting a festive fundraiser in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. The event, which will take place on Thursday 3rd November, will include beauty and make up demonstrations from the Estee Lauder Team, a Christmas fashion showcase and the chance to make a head start on your Christmas shopping with a range of beauty gifts on display. The event will be held at Debenhams Blackburn at 7pm. Tickets (which must be bought in advance) cost just £5 and include wine, nibbles and entry in to a free raffle for the chance to win a range of Estee Lauder goodies!

Event organiser Maureen Aspen said: ‘We are really excited to be organising another charity beauty evening in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Thanks to the support of the Blackburn Estee Lauder Team this looks set to be our best night yet. Charity Celebrations Celebrations were held for a local charity which has served Hyndburn for 44 years. Hyndburn’s Mayor and Consort were among the special guests to attend the birthday of Accrington Lions at the Adelaide Suite, Accrington. The District Govenor and around 70 guests were also in attendance and enjoyed a 4 course dinner. Entertainment was provided by Miss Charlotte Maden from St Christopher’s School who sang as guests were being greeted and later in the evening Bernie Roberts who crooned to the rest of the party. Accrington Lions has been involved in many local projects which include the Accrington Carnival and work in helping to support local families in need. The Accrington Lions will be holding their Annual Boxing Match at The Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa on Tuesday December 6th. For more information or tickets contact Keith Hindle on 01254 871578.
