IT’S DEBRIS POOL COVER TIME OF THE YEAR
It’s the time of year when debris covers are important for the trade and for pool owners. If pool owners are going to invest in a winter debris cover, they need to know it is tough enough for the job and will fit a pool properly. Plastica has 40 years expertise in manufacturing standard and freeform shaped debris covers. The whole perimeter of the cover is finished with webbing that is triple stitched with rot-proof thread, plus straps are protected underneath by
tough anti-chaffing material that resists abrasion. There’s a choice of fixings with a green/black material. The tough, UV stabilised woven cover will be a barrier against debris while letting rain water through to prevent dirty water building up on top of the cover.

The Hach Accu3™ Portable Colorimeter a new high-precision digital meter specifically for the pool and spa
market.delivers accuracy that is comparable to lab instruments, and tests three critical parameters: total chlorine, free chlorine, and pH. This meter is different as it uses fast-dissolving DPD powder pillow reagents for total and free chlorine. These pillows are packaged in single doses, so there is no need for measuring, and have a five year shelf life. Each powder pillow is stamped with an expiration date to ensure the reagent is still yielding reliable results.
The meter offers quick results. Once the sample cell is placed into the meter, digital results appear in five seconds! The meter stores the last 10 measurements along with the time each was taken. Manual calibration of the meter is not necessary – just zero the instrument with a blank cell.
