BROADMEADOW Racecourse will be awash with glitz and glamour next week when the Newcastle Jockey Club’s (NJC) spring racing carnival gets underway. More than 7000 people are expected to


attend the event, which is one of the premier occasions on the NJC’s calendar. Aside from all of the racing action that includes the fl agship Newcastle Gold Cup, the Group 3 Cameron Handicap, the Spring Provincial Cup and the 1400-metre Tibbie stakes, it will be the magnifi cent millinery and fantastic frocks on display that are sure to take some of the attention away from the racing action. Every cup carnival would not be complete


without its Fashions on the Field and Newcastle is no diff erent. The competition is sure to be keen. Both


days will have entrants fl aunting their winning style, with the winners taking home fantastic prizes.


Spring racing fashion is about showcasing the glamour and style that is synonymous with racing, so dress up and come along to the Newcastle carnival for your chance to win. The Fashions on the Field event, sponsored
