Treasurers work on coding changes at June conference Te County Treasurers met in Boone County for their June Con-
tinuing Education workshop. Teir main focus at the meeting was to work with staff from Legislative Audit in trying to implement the conversion of coding changes in order for all counties to have more consistent numbering throughout the state. Tere were a record number of Treasurers and deputies at the meet- ing and they were welcomed by the elected officials in Boone County. Host Treasurer Tommy Creamer provided the group some entertain- ment on Tursday evening after the group ate at Neighbors Mill Res- taurant, in the form of a country band which performed under a pa- vilion in one of the City parks for a couple of hours. Tommy provided a popcorn machine and cold drinks as the Treasurers listened, stepped to the music and sometimes sang along.
