The Royal British Legion – Raising a Glass to the 90th Anniversary
A number of events are being held both in the UK and overseas to celebrate the 90 years of service given by the Legion. On June 12th members and friends got together to “Raise a Glass” and here in Spain we were no exception – we don’t need any excuse to get together!!
So members and friends of the Hondón Valley Branch met for a Beach Party at El Altet and at 5 p.m. (4 p.m. UK time) there was a rush to the water’s edge with glasses in hand. It was a great day, very warm sun, sand and sea and great company. To find out more about this Legion Branch, please go to
