Ravat wins a Graphtec CE5000 in Panel Swap Competition

The winning entry in this year’s Panel Swap Competition at Sign & Digital UK was created by Soyeb Ravat of Ravat Printing who won himself a Graphtec CE5000-60 cutter. Based on the given theme The Customer’s Always Right, Soyeb’s

winning entry was entitled “The customer is never right - we only say it to sweeten them up”. Soyeb created the panel in 3D with layers of vinyl inspired by one of his favourite Art Nouveau artists, Mucha. Having never won anything like this before, Soyeb was delighted:

“I very much appreciate the prize as I was after a vinyl cutter at the show and now use the Graphtec daily to help me with my work. I am very grateful for it and it is truly an amazing piece of kit!” The CE5000 is providing additional production capacity at

Ravat Printing in Walsall in the West Midlands from where the company produces a range of sign work as well as printing services.

Left to right: Paul Hughes, organiser of the Signmakers’ Workshop and Panel Swap competition, winner Soyeb Ravat, and Phil Kneale of Graphtec GB who donated the CE5000 cutter.

The 600mm wide cutter is proving ideal for smaller sign work and for cutting flock in garment decoration. The CE Series of cutters have proved themselves time and

again, not just in larger sign businesses needing extra production capacity like Ravat Printing, but also in start-up companies and retail outlets choosing to produce their own signage. Ravat Printing also benefits from Graphtec (GB)’s comprehensive warranty and full technical support package. Full details of the CE5000 Series are available at
