an apprenticeship that is an industry- recognised qualification and includes on-the-job training and an NVQ at levels 1, 2 or 3. Our apprenticeships
incorporate current qualifications that are regularly updated to keep up with changing social care and child care requirements. You may be interested in working in an adult care setting or with children. Whatever you choose your apprenticeship will be tailored to your level or ability and we will support you to gain job-related skills. As an apprentice in health care, you
could work in hospitals, the community, doctors’ surgeries, hospices, private clinics or opticians. You could be supporting doctors or nurses in clinical roles or helping patients in hospital wards or their homes. Child care apprentices work with
children from birth to 16 years in settings such as nurseries, pre-schools, playgroups or as childminders working in their own home. The main purpose is to make sure that children are looked after, kept active, happy and nourished.
They also help children develop social and practical skills. This Apprenticeship gives people a fulfilling opportunity to work with children and young people whilst gaining an understanding of child care development. As an employee, apprentices receive
