Visit the beautiful commissioner's garden for a little
peace and quiet and allow the children to let off steam in the railway workshop, picnic and play indoor soft play or the outdoor adventure play areas.
New galleries No.1 Smithery:
‘Treasures Inspiring Culture’ is an all round treasure house for the whole family. It has new galleries displaying world class maritime treasures from the National Maritime Museum and Imperial War Museum and a changing programme of
interesting temporary exhibitions and family activities. During the school holidays, the courtyard is home to family fun including Pirate Play Days and Myths and Monsters.
