Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors Bromley Central Library July 7 – July 9 The FireFly Theatre Company presents an exciting production of the William Shakespeare classic in the intimate setting of the Main Hall in Bromley Central Library. The 200-capacity auditorium will play host to one of the most farcical, fast paced and joyous plays ever written, as part of the Bromley Literary Festival. Performed under the directorship of Jessica Farley, the story follows two identical twins unwittingly finding themselves crossing paths in the town of Ephesus, with delirium only a few paces behind. Said to be Shakespeare’s first and finest play, this piece on mistaken identity has grown in popularity over recent years. Now reinvented and restyled, this classic has been thrown into the 21st century. Retaining the wonderful language of Shakespeare, the energetic cast of eight create a wealth of fun characters, with the added challenge of double casting to fulfil the demands of this thoroughly enjoyable performance.
