What motivated you to start a non-profit specifically focusing on Youth Action on Africa other than such topic as the African Diaspora and their commitment to the continent?

The future lies in the hands of the youths and their related activities. The youths are the future of tomor- row, mentors of today and learners of the past. I believe that true success can only be achieved by en- gaging the youths in paving the path ahead. Youths and youth led organizations hold the key unlocking the answers that are yet to be successfully implemented. When I came to the U.S I was overwhelmed by the wealth of opportunities I was opportune to. So I had to find a way to transporting such opportunities to my home country and then to my continent. I couldn’t do it by myself, so I had to get a team that will assist and carrying the load – Youth Action Africa is the answer. Youth Action Africa begins with a simple premise: WHY is Africa and Africans in this current state? HOW can we enrich Africans with tools needed for development? WHO can we effectively empower to be a catalyst of change in their communities? WHAT do we/they need to become successful and sustain- able? Our flagship program is the Computer and Business Development which seeks to promote entrepreneur- ship learning through access to information, resource access and opportunity recognition. This way, Af- rica and Africans can identify and utilized resources around them to sustain themselves and also invest in their economy
