driana Giron, a dual talented and intellectual young woman attending Regis College, is Biology major and a local fashion designer. Her involvement in the fashion industry began with Nostalgia Fashion Show, a Regis College fashion production she co-founded. Simul- taneously, her interest in fashion motivated her to launch her clothing line: DRI by Adriana. With three years of designing experience, Adriana has established her talent and work in the local Boston college community.
s a self-taught designer, her previous collections are inspired by colors, different fab- rics, individuality and how she feels. Tailoring her designs specifically to young women in college, her work is unique, colorful and inspiring. In the coming months, Bostonians can anticipate for her summer and fall collection.
eing a college student and fashion designer, Adriana is able to pursue both her passions with organization and self-motivation, along with a strong ability to prioritize and multi- task. As a designer that caters to females, one challenge she spoke on was the increas- ing trend for unisex designers. The fashion industry, she said, “has lots of female designs but a lack of male designs.” Despite that challenge, however, she distinguishes herself through staying true to her vision regardless of what others say, one key element she said every as- piring designer should stand by.
