A P

t a young age, Stewart Smith fell in love with the beauty of photography. Influenced by his

sister, Tami, who was involved in the yearbook, he began to experiment with various elements of photogra- phy at a young age. In high school, Joe Sassi, the school yearbook advi- sor, encouraged him to get involved in the yearbook with his photography. Further pursuing his passion, Stew- art attended the Rhode Island School of Photography and later started his business in 1995.

hotography, according to him, is a creative outlet which allows him to capture the beauty in all

objects and people, along with a mo- ment in time. Through this medium of expression, he is able to capture an image that speaks a thousand words. In the area of fashion, specifically, he focuses on capturing images that highlight a model’s beauty and story, as opposed to his or her surround- ings. One can describe his work as simple, crisp and clean, and creative, yet timeless.
